The yearlong BoodleBox pilot offers participating students, faculty and staff access to several AI models. The university announced the initiative August 24; the September 7 reporting adds interviews about its educational goals.
Faculty retain control over permitted AI use in their courses. Planned campus discussions explore ethical questions rather than treating access to a tool as permission to use it for every assignment.
This is a campus pilot, not a public enrollment program or evidence of improved learning outcomes.
