What the source says
Salix council members began discussing data-center rules and postponed a memorandum of understanding while considering Google’s proposed development.
Ordinance work is beginning
KTIV reports that members discussed collecting their concerns for the Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council to use in drafting an ordinance. Public input would follow. The discussion took place September 9, after the council had previously declined a moratorium.
A decision was deferred
The council tabled the memorandum of understanding until its October 14 meeting to allow more review. The report does not describe approval of that agreement, the proposed annexation or a completed data-center project.
